CHART DISCLAIMER

The TEX MIX TOP 20 chart is created weekly and published on Fridays, except weeks when our source data does not publish a chart.

SOURCES: Mix Country 106 uses the radio airplay spin average between the CDX Nashville Texas Chart, the Texas Country Music Association' (TCMA), and the American Country Music Chart (ACMA). All charts are published weekly, with our data collection occurring each week and publication on our site on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

We also incorporate our official KMXC | Mix Country 106 Android and iOS apps where users on a per-device installation can vote with a thumbs up or down for their favorite songs. Each up-vote equals two (+2) played spin counts, and each down-vote is equal to minus two (-2) spin counts. The app votes are added or subtracted from the final average played spin counts from the CDX, TCMA, and ACMA chart counts. No user registration or personal information is required as a result of voting except for an anonymous unique device ID per device with the app installed. Please refer to our Privacy policy to learn how we use user data.

Mix Country 106 does not receive inside data for our chart calculations. CDX Nashville, ACMA, or the TCMA do NOT endorse our chart. Artists or Promoters should NOT use this chart for data collection.

Mix Country 106 is affiliated with CDX Nashville. We are current members of the TCMA and ACMA. We are on the Artist review panel and are a monitored station for the TCMA.

The TEX MIX TOP 20 is intended for entertainment and not for a monitored or industry standard chart.

Mix Country 106 uses all charts mentioned to help us pick what music we play on our station, along with listener feedback. We felt basing our chart on these two charts' combined average spins and mobile app song votes would help convey to our audience the top songs you will hear on Mix Country 106. We are not publishing this chart with any intent to cause any conflict of interest or show favoritism to any chart, Artist, Title, Promoter, Music Organization, or any other referenced party concerning our chart publications.

Mix Country 106 maintains the right to modify how this chart is determined without notice. Any updates to how our chart is tabulated will be published here.

We are committed to diversity. This means we will evaluate any song regardless of any contributing party's race, gender, ethnicity, or other discriminatory protections and evaluate the track at face value based on artist/group talent, production value, and public reputation.

The only requirement for placement in the TEX MIX TOP 20 chart is that the song appears in at least two (2) of the abovementioned charts with an average spin count coupled with our listener voting algorithm, where the total numeric value averages in the top 20 of all sources.

From time to time, we may have other charts based on other characteristics. For example, we may publish songs with up-votes or down-votes from our independent data collection.
